Hi, I’m Tavi — the founder of Flowers by Tavi.
I’m 21 years old, originally from the beautiful country of Guyana, and I moved to the United Kingdom in search of a new beginning and a life filled with opportunity. But this business is more than just a fresh start — it’s deeply personal.
Growing up, flowers were always a part of my life. As a child, I would pick or buy a flower for my aunt almost every day. It became our little ritual. She would smile and remind me how something so small could be so perfect, even in a world that can sometimes feel so cold. In those moments, I learned that flowers weren’t just pretty — they carried emotion, comfort, and meaning.
When she passed away, that love never left me. Instead, it grew into something bigger. I decided to continue what we shared, to carry that feeling forward — not just for myself, but for others too. Flowers by Tavi was created in her legacy, with every arrangement holding a piece of that love, care, and memory.
I’ve always been someone who is warm, a little funny, and full of heart — and I pour all of that into my work. Every bouquet or arrangement is made with intention, designed to make someone feel seen, loved, and special.
This isn’t just a business to me. It’s my story, my healing, and my purpose.
